Well here I am in Altdorf (just wiki Wilhelm Tell) on a Sunday when everything is closed. The Surren Pass is closed too because of (and get this) an avalanche has closed the trail.
I’m not complaining because let me tell you I’m tired. Damn this trek is a lot if climbing. Not what I expected at all. So I decided to do what I do pretty well and that’s to have a beer ( or three ) and figure out what to do now…. Well for now drink beer and then figure out what to do later if you want to be specific ; )
I might have to bus around to Engleburg instead of the pass but that’s ok, for the first time in my life, I can say I’m starting to feel old. Uuugh. Now where is that beer?
Sorry to hear about the Detour. Still having a cold one at a beautiful outdoor Cafe in the alps is not all that bad.
Are those the Same green plastic chairs we use on the Deck of the Hotel?

Hi Dan, I think you may have already been to Vaduz & Feldkirch but if not go see Schattenburg castle in Feldkirch. And the winery in Vaduz.. Also if you go to Lake Constance theres a beautiful garden on the isle of Mainau in Switzerland or it may have been in Austria. We were on a bus tour and never knew which country we were in . But if you take a break from hiking check these places out. Enjoy. Living vicariously thru your trip!
