Дакота is a 7 year old (ish) Chocolate Lab, Doberman mix that I adopted in Anchorage a few years before I moved out here to the Aleutian Islands.
I could say volumes about her (some good and some bad) but I'm happy to report that after being hit by a taxi and falling off a 40 foot waterfall, trekking and hiking all over the islands, being rescued by the coast guard and enduring a lot of trips in to the Bering Sea, she still comes home and sleeps on the couch ( yeah the couch ) right next to me.
